History of the Order
The Sacred Order of Living Paganism was founded on June 3, 2003 in Durham, North Carolina. The Constitution for the Order was adopted by the Durham, North Carolina Circle on February 8, 2004. The Addendum to the constitution titled General Learning Requirements was adopted by the Durham Circle on March 1, 2004. The Order was incorporated as a religious and educational non-profit corporation by the state of North Carolina April 2, 2004. The Hearthfire Circle of Morrisville NC was started in 2006.
